ALRM Field officers assist Aboriginal people and families to access ALRM lawyers and provide information about your legal rights. Field Officers provide referrals to relevant services in the community and arrange and deliver community legal education.

AVS is there to provide care, comfort and support to Aboriginal people who are in police custody as AVS visitors attend Police cells after-hours to assist the Police in their duty-of-care.
AVS is an After-Hours service available from 5:00pm – 9:00am. Either tell the arresting officer that you want an ALRM visitor to attend OR call (08) 8113 3777 or free call 1800 643 222.
ALRM helps Aboriginal people who have come into contact with Police or the Courts. Our solicitors represent clients in court to get people out on bail and keep them out of gaol.
ALRM provide advice and representation in relation to Family Law issues concerning children’s matters when you separate from your partner. Lawyers also represent parents in care and protection proceedings when children are removed from families by Families SA.

AFCS financial counsellors offer a broad range of knowledge of debt recovery processes and the options available to people who are struggling to pay their bills. They provide confidential and independent advice to people experiencing financial difficulty.
ALRM delivers CLE to families, community and other stakeholders, with assistance from our field officers and solicitors.
ALRM provides legal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout SA within the grant conditions imposed by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.
If we are unable to help you with your matter, our ALRM staff can help you obtain assistance. Matters such as guardianship, native title, medical negligence, defamation, child support, divorce, wills, intervention orders & property damage issues are not handled by ALRM.
